Exactly.. He doesn't bother with me now anyway, still friends but distant... All his was missing was ohlins, and brembo. And I've see them on the bay, were someone has smashed a z1000r... I'm a trend setter,I is... Lol. but I haven't been out on my bike for 2 weeks, signed off work for a month, due to bullying and stress. gutted, bloody medication.... 😟

Strange day of literally ups and downs......
1. First actual ride of the year. Met one of my mates (Tuono 1100) me on the zed.
2. Into south wales, stopped at the Steel Horse Cafe (very nice, never been there before) mate - told me another one of my mates died last week. Diagnosed with cancer, a month later he was gone. Sad, as id always vowed we'd catch up and have an evening together.
3. Second stop. Cafe up by the "sugar loaf" (the locals were hanging round my bike observing my "cheeky as " number plate) and i think wondering how ive not been nicked (Welsh plod apparently have nothing better to do apparently).
4. On the way back my mate pulled up on a T junction to go left...me looking right, not seeing him stop and ran into him at about 15mph, realized at the last second. My crash bung took the brunt of it glancing on his rear tyre, my left hand side handlebar then got directed down the rear of his bike resulting in my fist punching a hole in his rear light and me bouncing off him and into the main road....luckily nothing coming. End result, smashed off lever guard (Cheap chinese on but it did its job saving the lever) and i had a spare at home so no biggie. Crash bung bent.
5. On the plus side some of the best road ive ridden for a very long time. Is anyone else like this: Whenever im riding out of Wales i feel like im running for the boarder like the Dukes of Hazzard or something like that..
Mixed bag today...sat in, cup of tea...watching stranger things season 3. Replacement crash bung ordered..along with a kickstand foot...the things you find when youre trawling shopping sites..!
So, theyre yer go....my day in Wales.

Sorry to here about ure bud,and his fight with such a diagnosis, respect to him...... As for ure trip to Wales, well, the steel horse is a complete rip off,and the owner is a bullie,I had my involvement with him,he wouldn't help me when I got stuck, and I needed to borrow 3 spanners to adjust my bike chain.... £1.70 for a can of coke,well..... That's me done, with that.... Sorry to here about ure indecent involving ure bike, hope it's o.k. bud... Would have liked to have met up with u,it would be nice to put a face to the person, maybe next time... Need to do the abbagaveny through brecon run.... There's a few good runs,if u turn left at the steel horse is a nice run,or right is abba.... Maybe next time sir.... Hope ure o.k. thought, and again sorry to hear about ure friend

P,s yes the Walsh police do have nowt else better to do,there had me,for my 6x5 number plate, but once I've been had,u will not get away with it next time.... Pick on us motorcyclist's,it an easy way to make money..... I'm off again lmfao!!! On another note,as u left the steel horse and u got to the roundabout, before abbagaveny cafe,a motorcycle was killed on a honda motorcycle, very sad, don't know if I know him as yet,but my heart goes out to him and his family,it happens about 3 o'clock, very, very sad....

First time ive been to the steel horse so i cant comment.
Yeah - the locals in another cafe further up said that as the crime is so low (up there) they all said theyve got nothing better to do...
Bike is fine. Just needs a crash bung which ive already ordered...he stopped, i didnt, my fault...meh...happens. I was thinking about my mate most of the day which put a damper on everything...guess i wasnt paying attention!!

The abbagaveny cafe is the better place to go, normally there's a lot of bike there on a Sunday,as for the steel horse u speak as u fined,it's mine, not you're. As for ure friend, yes I guess it does put a damper on the day out,but it just goes to show u cared about him....

Not sure about the location of the second cafe....it was on the right, on a corner, we turned right then right again and then headed to the "Sugar Loaf"....then back down to the boarder...

Thanks bud,my plan is to follow my misses over, her in the car,and me on the bike, drop it off, then go with her around Bristol. Rather than sit there for 7ish hours, well that's my plan, not yet but hopefully not to long, just worried about the weather, don't like the rain,me or my bike.... Won't get stressed about it yet.... Thank u...

Depends - some bikes cost more than others as they are hard to do....factor in for 400 but i expect it would cost less...if your gonna change the exhaust or air filter do before you go otherwise it will have to be done again...i had a twin exit system and when i switched i took it back in to get it remapped (thinking it would be no different) but, it threw the fuel/air mix was right out.
I know its a lot to throw at it (and i was the same first time i went to see him) y'think its a rip off but it really will feel like a new bike once its done.....we got our car done too...went from 180bhp up to 220....2nd gear is now a torque monster (on the car) - Smax...
