hi, quick question, my 750s was up for its first service to keep warranty up to date. i was so bothererd watching milage as i still had a couple of hundred before i got to the 4k mark that i over-ran the date. should have been 12/04. am i still ok for warranty if i get it in this week

should be ok as they can't disqualify the warranty for late service only if not carried out correctly and if a dealer was doing it you would hope it would be done right (I was under the impression that they are on 7500m services same as the 1000)

My understanding is your not obliged to have it serviced at a Kwak dealers either, as it no longer affects the warranty as long as the work is done to dealer spec with genuine Kwak spares!

Had a look at the manual today. That 4000 mile service is basically checking fluid levels cables and hoses etc. I do that once a week anyway. They have a large K beside anything you need a dealer to do. I'm only doing that to keep the warranty and any goodwill that might come from it. I don't believe dealers do it right (with the very odd exception) so when the warranty is up I wouldn't let them near it.
