Our American Friends seem to rate this mod. Anyone tried it here, if so what are the results?

Ive heard of this mod but don't have personal experience.
Have you heard of and tried the other recommended alternatives?: replacement barends and/or a bracing bar (such as the renthal one)
I have to say that i don't suffer from vibrations much, but i do have the R&G bar ends fitted so maybe these are why i don't.

Have got the R&G bar end sliders but tried to get the screw out of the original and nearly broke my wrist. I know there is some stuff on this on "ITV" but in the interests of this fledgling forum any advice before I mash those screws? Cheers, Steve.

I bought an impact driver to get mine out.
Get the right size screwdriver attachment, hold the driver in tight to the screw, get a big hammer and hit it HARD.
And remember the old engineers mantra:
If at first you don't succeed, get a bigger hammer.

I put renthal bars on mine with bar end mirrors but had to drill out the bolts to get the old bar ends off, once the bar end is off you can get molegrips on whats left and unscrew it

Have recently put lower Renthall bars on my z750, tried using led shot but the vibration eventually made the shot rattle in the bars so bought a roll of 6" lead flashing (the stuff they use for roofing), rolled it up and stuffed some in each bar end, then inserted around 30mm of fuel pipe in each end, got some longer bar end bolts, liberal coating of silicon glue on bolts/bar ends and fuel pipe, bolt screws into fuel pipe a treat, even managed to use the original bar end weights!

I have just fitted renthal ultra Lowe's with the bracing bar and filled the bars with lead shot on a quick test the mirrors were clear at 9000 revs but as soon as you shut of a bit went blurred again .It just seam's to have moved the problem to a different rev range ,will leave the shot in for now and source so heavier bar ends
