Hi guys, got a problem went for a ride yesterday and when i got back I noticed that the end of the swing arm looked diferent! On closer inspection I saw that the chain ajuster nut washer and Back plate were all missing! I think the nut must have vibrated loose I had a look at the other ajuster and undid it and found there was next to no torque on it and it just span off very easily so iam not surprised the other side came off! you would have though the nut would be held on by a spring washer or some similar locking device! So I need to get a nother one from some where probably Kawasaki. Unless there is someone on here with a spare one the don't want

Can't think why they would want to Gotta say that the whole swing arm on the bike is very cheap and nasty compared to my old Z1000. I know it is build down to a pice but the street triple has a nice alloy one and that even cheaper!

Hi Mate you just need a couple of Stainless Steel M8 Nylok nuts mate. and obviously a new adjuster end plate I would say the second locking nuts where not fitted on the pdi which means you might be able to complain at the dealers and i would think they will sort it out ASAP if thay are a decent bunch. if they don't just don't buy a bike off them next time Regards Rick
