Finally arrived yesterday. A little disappointed with the welding on the down pipe, but the end-can is a beautiful piece ;D Taxing the bike today, then try and find some time to document and fit the lot

Thats one nice looking can Ollie. Dont forget to moddify the airbox top when you fit that filter ;D Have fun.

you need to cut the top of the ai box to allow more air in it.

in the top of the lid you should find a rubber reducer inside the plastic hole. bit fiddly to get out but just remove that at first mate... makes hole a lot bigger and no cutting involved

yes sorry my comment was for the K6 model.
now by doing that we need PCIII cause it then messes up the air/fuel balance doesn't it?

Noticed my bike started popping as if i was hitting the limiter,but i was no where near the revs,and thought it sounded great,no pcIII,just cut air lid wrong(long story),that im still after..

nice choice of pipe mate! i wanted them for mine but thry don't make them for the 03-06 Z1000 . Me old man has got one on his FZ1, sounds lovely with the DBK taken out! ;D

the valve is in your can. you have to lose it, no other choice. it gives more low down torque and probably does something to the fueling. am no expert and some of the forums are a lot more switched on that i am. Comes MOT, just put the baffle in your after market can and that will do, you should not have to put the original can back in.. I think you just need to disconnect the wires connected to the original can, that's it, leave the rest on the bike
