Its proberly been asked a few times I know I need to get my 750 to handle as In my opinion the sussy front and rear is fooking awfull. I doubt if I'll go down the route of completly changing the front end but will change the springs and oil. Will go for a chnge of shock at the rear though My question is? , which one of the zx10 models shock fits 04/05 or the 06/07 (under seat exhausts) Cheers Rob

You can fit z1000 forks and radial calipers (using ZX6R yokes) If the shock is the same size and fitment as the 1000 then the C1 ZX10R shock will fit (The underseat exhaust ZX10R is the D model).
The Z750 front end is effectively a ZR7 750 front end which was Kawasaki's naked middleweight before the new Zed range was released. It uses calipers like alot of the early 90's Kawas like the Zephyr range and disks too. Was a bit of a parts bin raid compared to the 1000 (which was really a few bits from the ZX9R)
I would start with good progressive springs and a good fork oil (read up on which grades give best results for weight and riding style on that bike) then see which shock fits then its really a setting up exercise for weight (rider) and how you ride (road...fast road/trackday.....track)

Not used a ZX10 shock myself - have used the ZX6r one from a 2003 model. Earlier zx6 ones also fit straight in, and as the gas canister is pointing along the frame rather than across it, the earlier ones mean you dont have to move the reg/rect unit in order to slot it in. Not a major job just a pain in the arse as you have to re route the wiring loom to the plug under the battery in order to reverse the unit on its bracket to stop the across the frame gas canister from foulimg it. Dependent on your weight, you may have to consider upgrading the spring, but at least you have damping that is both working and adjustable on the zx6r shock.... Front end has been helped immensely by a pair of hagon springs (progressive) and 15 weight oil, Kawasaki use 10 weight as stock, hagon recommend a different air gap too so that alters performance in a positive way too. Later zx636 units fit too - just need some bushes/washers - see here zee750s.com/zeeforum/viewtopic.php?t=1977
