i was riding home today and went to change down gears to turn into the road where i live
good luck on the old engine breaking malarky because my gear pedal had vanished lol
not funny at the time, when i over revved to the side of the road i realised that my selector arm had, um fallen off, and was hanging by a thread literally, with the pedal hanging vertically
to make matters worse i was a little on the tired side and for some stupid fucking reason thought to myself, oh shite i have no side stand, so for the first ten seconds of panic i was leanin off the bike trying to screw the arm back on, thinking that i couldn't get off the bike due to my silly notion that i was absent a side stand
this mind blank was probably due to mucho alcohol consumption the day before. I sat there thinking "who can i ring to bring me a fucking paddock stand or bring me my fucking paddock stand" before i had a moment of clarity and kicked my side stand down, tightened up the fucking nut on the gear selector and rid home
as much as i blame my fuzzy brain i reckon a three week old bike shouldn't do that shit

Sounds like the usual piss poor dealer service. Probably wasn't PDI'd right. I had that happen to me on a FJ1100 but it was out of the shop about 3 minutes. Have you noticed the amount of midgies about ? The front of mine looks like it's grown a beard.
