Has any one replaced the exhaust or even the end can on a new model Z750?
There are 3 emission sensors which connect the pipe to the ECU. If you change the exhaust you need to terminate these but i'm worried at the effect it would have on the running of the bike, the ECU, even the simple things like dash warning light in your face all the time
It also voids the warranty on the ECU and associated electrics
I'm keen to change the pipe but not to mess up anything else on a new bike
Help/advice appreciated.

i have changed my can for Akrapovic Slip-On Exhaust www.twinshack.co.uk/prods/165.htmlpurched from above you have to disconect the exhaust valve from the ecu valve on the lh side of the bike under side cover 10mm nut and pull off real easy |

was the twin headlight conversion easy?

Is it really all you have to do as I am looking to change my can as well? was the twin headlight conversion easy? exhaust was a 20 min job at the most and the head light mod was an 1 hr ish but most of this time was reading instruction that was very good both very good mods imo |

I'm thinking of the Akrapovic end can, did you go for Titanium or carbonfibre finish? Can you feel the 3.8BHP difference? Does the weight saving change the balance/handling at all? Is it worth the money? Sorry for all the questions  Do you have any more pics, and what's a twin headlamp conversion? I have an 07 Z750. Cheers Ollie |

Awesome photos Kentsclan, thanks. Your right, the Titanium looks the nuts, I thought it had a carbon finish at the entry to the can as well as the exit?? Did you consider the Mivv Suono? www.brspecialtuning.co.uk/K%20z750%20suono%20det.htm#SideAnother good looker, similar to the Akrapovic, but down on the power increase. |
