05 636 shock with Hyperpro spring plus Hyperpro front spring kit.
Just finished fitting these and I have to say it transforms the bike. No more getting flung out of the seat and walloping your balls of the back of the tank. You can feel whats happening at the front and brake harder with total confidence.
Never mind Power Commanders and cans this is the best £220 I ever spent on a bike.
I reckon some Ferodo HH pads and HEL brake lines and it will be perfect.

Marko - Interesting mate. I've got a std zx10r shock on the back and hyperpro fork springs on my thousand and it makes the world of difference...
Was considering getting a hyperpro rear spring too - can you comment on whether that's made any difference to the back???

The standard 636 shock was better than the standard 750 one but even with the preload wound right down it was still too hard and I couldn't get anywhere near the right static sag.
The Hyperpro spring made all the difference. Got the right sag and the damping adjustments make a difference I can feel. If it does the same to the ZX10 shock ( don't see why it wouldn't) I'd definately buy it.
