Anyone know the procedure for removing the front mudguard??? I have a 750S and wanted today to remove the mudguard to have a re-spray..........but after removing the obvious 4 bolts ( 2 in each fork leg ) I couldn't bring the thing forward as there is a 'flange' of fibre-glass either side that won't clear the bracket that is in turn bolted to the fork leg. AND it seems that to remove the small bolts that hold the brackets in place, you first have to remove the front wheel to be able to get at the bolts? Seems a bit long winded just to remove a mudguard to me??!!

On my Z1000 Ive removed it a few times.
From what I remember, you undo the four bolts, unclip the brake line catches, then lift the mudguard upwards and carefully stretch out the side's so that it clears the mounting, then pull forwards.
It was very easy and I shouldnt see it being much different from the Z750
