Any one changed the forks on a z750 will some off a 636 2002 fit and what would be needed looking for a rear shock so was thinking front to match..any ideas guys & galls

I belive you can fit the 636 forks if you use Z1000 yolks

Thanks neo was looking for the cheapest way to upgrade the front end ...think it will have to be just new springs & oil

Logan, I wanted to do the same to the front end of my 750 but just couldn't afford it. I did however replace the springs with the Hyperpro kit and oil. The thing rocks now and is just a completely different bike on the road. Just short of £100 and well worth it.

simmsy did you do it yourself if yes is it a easy job do you need any special tools ...looks like this will be the way to go for me

Quite easy to do it yourself, took about 1.5hrs doing things carefully. All you really need are fr and re paddock stands and if poss a fork oil level gauge although it can be done without. The forks are very basic and easy to dismantle.

thanks simmsy paddock stands ok ..have you just done the front as you can get a hyperpro kit with a rear spring to match

I haven't changed the spring but have fitted shorter tie bars to jack yhe back end up higher.
