As the std chain looks like its made of tin its going rusty all the time and looks so thin had a big v twin with a fat chain i am looking at changeing my chain for somthing better i have renthal sprockets front and back to put on at the same time so do i need a split linked chain ? what size can i go up to ? and what about these soft link chains on ebay what do you guys think...

Split link is a bad idea. I had one of those let go on me on a FJ1200 and it took a lot of engine casing with it. Soft link is better if you make sure you use enough violence to round the end of the pins. A bigger chain is going to sap a bit of your power - have you tried Wurth dry chain lube. It doesn't fling off and the chain doesn,t rust.
