Question for all you z750 owners, just took a look at my OE bt012 rear and I'm almost down to the wear indicator in the centre after only 2300 miles, prolly got another thousand left in it but I thought they'd last longer, how are yours doing? ps would an 020 be a suitable replacement!

I got 4000 out of the first one but I think I was pushing my luck. Second one would be about the same as yours. As far as I know the BT012/BT019 combination is specifically for the Z750 and the Z1000.

I got just over 8K out of the OE BT012,it was about 4K past it's use by and had started to delaminate in the centre........................it did eventually go pop on me at 80 MPH on the M3 one morning on my way into work!!!
020's wouldn't be a bad replacement,if i were you though i'd go for an 010 front and an 020 rear.
I've got 014's on at the moment, got 2k out of the first rear and am on my second, think i'm gonna try out the new Pirelli Diablo Strada's next.

Rear starting to square off now, front getting close to the wear indicator too, 3350 miles, just got a quote for a pair of Conti Road Attacks, £160 fitted on the bike, gonna give em a try soon!

Got 3615 miles out of the second back tyre. Put a BT014 on as I'm told the standard rear is getting scarce. Put 800 miles on it in Scotland over the weekend - brilliant tyre. Go to the Highlands - God made them for bikers !

Had 014's on my zx6, excellent as you say, but is it just me or do bridgestones wear out quicker than other makes, had diablos on my previous zxr750, didnt get to wear them out though!

Don't honestly know but I love the feel and grip of the things - um - bridgestones that is. A mate of mine put metzelers on his speed triple and it went through them in no time.

Love the whole place. Nearly fell off a couple of times just gawping round me. It seems a shame to rip through such beautiful scenery.

I got about 3200 miles from my 012 rear and the middle was past the wear indicators, wierd thing is that they looked new still at 2500(it might be a dodgy tyre ) or just cos I am about 17st. I have heard porkers get through tyres sooner.
