Anyone else noticed that the heel plates are painted silver instead of being polished alloy, noticed some small scratches already, made by the heels of my boots, would have thought theyd be tougher than that!

mine a scratched to hell.. i was like "sheet look at that" but then i realised my dad had caused some of it to so i was like "meh" i will prob touch it up though

yeah - i have scratched/scuffed heel plates. no biggy - they're designed to stop the other parts getting scratched/scuff, so i'd rather they do it! i think kwakker do fancy heel plates as accessories...

Both my previous Kwaks have had plain alloy heel plates so the scratches just polished out, think I'll strip the paint off and just polish them!
