Thought I'd start a fresh one on the forks. Apart from the wheel upgrade this is the single biggest one my bikes had.
Just got into work and while I said I have to get used to the handling again. I think I need to mess with the damping initially after all its running on stock settings. My journey to work is mainly dual carriageways and a few roundabouts thrown in. I put the supercorsas on at the start of the winter (a cheap deal from a lad on the ducati forum) and then wth the accident they've never really been used as such...digressing...anyway, this morning I had the chance to hit some of the big roundabouts at a decent speed and I can confirm the awesomeness of the cartridges. Mid corner is very reminiscent of the rsv4, stable, and coming out of the other side - while I don't feel I could have gone in faster it feels loads better and more planted.... Got an Allen key with me today and tonight I'll be checking the sag...
Other than that all good.

That's the one big difference between the stock forks and the likes of your Nitrons or my K-Tech,adjustment make a difference. I think there are a couple of reasons behind manufacturers thinking. Firstly, parts are built down to a price and secondly, even if an owner twiddles with setting without much of a clue, they won't end up with anything unrideable. The downside of that is,you don't get what you are after either. I'm still exploring and fine tuning settings, but I'm happy to know I can now actually achieve a compromise that works for me. None of that stuff is cheap, but for me,I'd rather have a sweet handling bike than an extra 20 bhp. Though that's nice too.

do you know what spring rate they supplied the forks with? Curious as I got 9.5N's with mine Skub got 10.5's with his K-Tech 25IDS's, despite us weighing about the same 170 pounds.

No idea - although i could check the suspension card (in the garage i think). So, just been out for a couple of hours. Its saturday and the sun is out, cant do anything on the garden (waiting for supplies on wednesday to turn up). Anyway - a couple of hours out and ive turned 3 clicks back on the compression and one back on the rebound. Imconscious of the supercorsa's getting a little worn now so didnt go full beans but i can say that the more the bike is pushed the more compliant the front becomes, plusher if you will. Going back to my house theres a nice road coming from Cheddar back to Bristol, and A road with lots of big sweepers which ive gotta say was amazing on the bike.....i cant think of a better naked bike to be on to be honest....buy a H2? - id rather just supercharge mine...!

Couldn't agree more,it's never all about the power for me,and if I can't open my garage and if I don't smile at the bike I own, then what's the point,I'm more than happy with my bike. And the zh2 would have to change it's looks completely, and I can't see that happening anytime soon,as I've always stated the zh2 is so butt fucking ugly, that I have no interest in even giving it a second look, its a big disappointment. And like u said Comphysofa I'll stick with what I own,and I'm happy to own,as it makes me smile.... But it's always up to the individual,as we all know,so I would never knock anyone's bike,it's not in me,there's a bike out there for everyone,as we all know how it goes....
