Nows as good-a-time as any... Thought I'd kick off with a stroke of luck... Found my original side panel in the garage and it's the right side... In that's its the left panel... Result!  |

This is gonna be a long thread....first and foremost re the above - its definately getting a respray. Ive got a guy lined up...hes furloughed at the moment but has another location he can do private work from....these are my options... (thought id get some opinion from you lot)....
1. Audi Grey. Grey seems to be a modern colour at the moment....no stickers, nothing, just grey.
2. Eddie Lawson Racing colours...always liked them...got the chance to do that now..
3. Old stylee Kawk green with the old Kawasaki logo on the tank.
4. 2021 ZX-10RR race colours. Current but could get old.
5. Nitron turquoise colours with old stylee kawk logo.
For all of the above i think black is a good wheel colour.

Ive not got it back yet so the list of repairs is as follows.....
Repairs...
1. New Rad - got an aftermarket one lined up.
2. Refurb Brembo Hpk's
3. Replace bent front discs with PFM floating ones. (got them on my RSV4 already - lovely feel on them)
4. General scratches and stone chips....respray of wheels and bodywork.
5. Lower Yoke replacement/refurb (went down on the floor) not sure of state of it yet.
6. New set of fat bars.
7. Mirrors (D-Axis only sold in the U.S. but i still like them so gonna get another set....
8. Lever guards
9. Crash protection. (Most of it is fucked) - ill be switching to GB racing as they do one extra bit of crash protection that R&G dont do....the right hand side generator cover.
10. Belly pan smashed off
11. Front mudguard smashed.
12. Generator cover and cover on the other side both have their repsective lugs smashed off so replacements of those...
13. One of the frame spars that holds the crash bungs is dented so a new one of those..
Upgrades
1. Nitron Performance fork cartridges.
2. Back on the dyno for the remap it needed now the Airbox mod is done.
3. A shed load of cerakoting...always meant to get the rear subframe done as its alloy and quite pitted so its getting done above other things....
There'll probably be a ton of other stuff but itll all go down on here as it starts to take shape....
Apparently the sprayer has got some spare time at the moment so as soon as the bike comes back all the bodywork and wheels are coming off and going to him...strip the lot off that busted - sit the bike on the floor and then build back up from there....

Na.... light Ian Gun metal grey and black wheels,and black acsents,I would do,the stealthy look IDE go for..... With black decals,and a bit of carbon fiber for good measure....

Something like this,but maybe a matalic grey,and instead of the green,maybe carbon fiber or black,or even another colour,just an idea... Chrome red/bergandy...maybe!!!  |

Just an update - or not as it were.....Waiting on her insurance company to agree that the bike is a write off and then start the arguments of the value of it....strange as theyre paying for the storage of my bike...my only worry is that now nothing is happening with mine (for the moment) then im guessing theyll leave it outside (in the middle of winter). Anyway still waiitng.....so its all a bit quiet for me....cant go out for the obvious reasons so nothing to report there, although my old mans 400.4 is now rolling around the garage.! so thats a plus!

 I can only guess how it feels,and I know it sounds silly of us bikers,but that bike means something to u (obviously) but yes people don't care about other people's property,and don't care ever as much as an owner does,grates on me... A garage wanted my bike for 3 days for a job that would take 6/7 hours.... Hell no,I'm not having my bike knocking about the work shop,left outside... So I know exactly what you mean bud,I so hope ure bike is o.k. bud.... Another colour combo,for u to think about,to take ure mind off it... What about a slight light charcoal metallic grey,with wheels,and acsents of crime red like the colour red on my mates Aprilia rsv4 2016 he wheels.... That red,crime look....
