Hi all,
i’m new to the forum so apologies if listed wrong.
long story short i’ve managed to break the frame in an accident. As there were no other vehicles/objects involved i didn't declared it to the insurance company. Engine is running and most of the parts are ok. my only option is to repair the bike now. assuming the frame below can’t be repaired, i need to buy a new frame. From dealership it would cost £1200. I’ve found a blank one(no v5 no numbers on the frame/blank for but it’s 2017 (JHF) and my bike is 2014 (FEF) What are my chances for them to be compatible?
Thanks!

Chris, when you say you broke the frame, where is it broke, is it bent or out of lineament etc could it be welded ? If you get on to Cradley Heath Kawasaki page they give you parts list and numbers, you could check to see if the 2014 is the same as the 2017! I do this when i want bits and bobs for mine, as some engine parts are the same as the zx9
