Well popped into my local dealer yesterday and saw the new bikes out for this year, and noticed that they have dropped the Z800, well they haven't really its now a Z900, as they still do the Z1000 i can't see the point, if they want to have more power just do the Z1000, i thought the idear was riders who didn't want a big bike could have a 600 to 750 size machine. They do an all new 650 twin, which was the old ER6 this is now going to be called the Z650, i have read they have orders for 12,000 and it hasn't gone on sale yet, as for the Ninja 250 and 300's don't know whats happened to them this year?

The Z900RS is a bike that I am interested in, lots of news in September 2016 of its pending released, then nothing since.

Really Max? - may as well go for the 1000....not sure if its me but i see z1000 gen 4's are holding their value quite well....theres an 64 plate gen 4 on ebay for 9k (now i know before everyone gets their oar in) that its the age old "its only worth what someone wants to pay for it" - theres a lot of kit on there, full akra system plus bling but it shows that they must have some "value" to them...ie im starting to see second hand 1290's for 10k and below and that is right at the top of the pecking order in the naked league table....
i might be making something out of nothing but it shows that the zed is not as bad as the reviewers would have people believe...if they were shit they wouldnt sell, and the resale value would be a lot lower...

The key here is 'RS' which is an original 1970's z900 copy as was the Zephyr 1100. Totally different styling.

no problem, hope the motor is as mental as the newer z1000's, it will be brilliant.
