My second post today, well after going for a short ride today i went to call at my mates, and pulled up at the road i needed to turn right into, this side road is on a hill and an angle, so waited for the car coming out to pull away, then another car came down the road and saw me wanting to turn so give me some space to turn the bike, i release the clutch stalls the engine and as i am moving forward lost my balance, put my right leg down to catch the bike but no luck, she goes down i roll out the way, then jumps up to lift the bike, could i lift her, hell no! some lad passing by comes over and gives me a hand, [ thanks mate!] and then i push her over the side of the road, just a little scratch on the RG engine cover, bobbins saved the rest, but the worse thing is i put my back out trying to lift her.

Well, for me Naproxen works (suffer from a bad back every now and again) but you have to get them under prescription....as i say the main thing is the crash protection did its job so if you can see my thinking you got away lucky! just for the record a tank side panel (that goes down the side of the rad) is about 130 quid...

Glad wasn't too much damage, I suffer with back, ligaments on both sides buggered. So far riding bike doesn't bother it.

Thanks guys so not the only one here with back problems, i suffered bad back few years ago and was on the sick thingy, for five years, had phsyo pain killers and nothing was working, go so bad used a stick some days, then one night in my bed i move or turned over and snap, well the sound you make when you crack your knuckles, and i thought oh shit! never going to get out of bed, fell aleep, then when i woke up in the morning i was cured! it was so great to bend and move even walk without the pain, Well its been over a week since dropped the bike and my back is on the mend, still be sore when had to bend and straighten up again, but the big worry is every time i sit at a road junction that falling off in case i stall again plays on my mind, oh to be young again!
