Ordered some black sidepanels from the 2015 model. As you can see before the old silver panels were there to complement the silver finished stock tailpipes but they were history after the journey home from the lads that i bought it off.....looks miles better with the black.....bugger, cant upload pic from my tablet....will do it later...
There we go, that's better....

Yep it is but I'm not sure of the diameter...my stock bars are at home I think in the garage roof somewhere...if I can get them down/find them ill check if you want....usually most manufacturers ship them with the 2 different size inserts...

Well i think its about time i posted some pixs of my bike, only two months since i have own her, and added a few mods, but more on the way, i will be tarting up my old ER5, maybe new clutch plates, springs etc and brake clapier seals then i will sell her, and put the money on the Zed.  |

Well given up trying to link it to hosting site, and dropped the camera image size to suit the forum, hope you can see them well enough, I took the tank off this morning, and trying to understand the haynes manual, like you just unscrew this and pull off, squeeze this and that, etc, anyway managed to get the conectors off and then fuel pipe, so should be easier next time, while it was off checked the airfilter, that was harder to do than the fuel tank, as the wiring loom is above it, when got it off and pulled filter out it looked brand new, check the coolant and that look new also, as no bits floating around the top like my old ER5 coolant,    |

And as i now can take the tank off, i can repair the dent in the side from the last owner, if i can get the colour match paint?
don't know whether to go for some custom paint jobby, with naked girls all over or werewolves etc ha!

I would suggest paint the whole tank. You'll. Never get it right otherwise. Looks a clean bike.

Thanks, i always give the bike a quick clean over everytime i ride her, last week fitted a tail tidy, which i thought was going to take me around two hours to fit, ten hours later and into the second day got it sorted, the last owner on fitting the led winkers screwed up the wiring so that took most of the time fixing that, got carbon fibre frame cover and panels, i did get a stainless radaitor grill cover off ebay few weeks back that turned out to be the wrong one for mine, sent it back, and according to the guy in germany never got it, so that was close to £50 down the swanny!
