Hi there Taffyleng,
First of all....welcome to the forum.
Secondly and most importantly.......this is a 2003+ Kawasaki Z1000/Z750 forum and not for older 1980's Kawasaki Z1000/Z750 aircooled 8 valve models.
With regards to your issue.....I would remove your carbs, remove the float bowls and clean everything, remove all the jets and blow through with an airline and carb cleaner spray then reassemble. Normally fuel running through carbs is caused by a blocked jet or sticky float. If this doesn't rectify the problem then buy a fuel tap repair kit and strip and replace the parts of the fuel tap with those supplied in the kit.
After that.....if no joy, you might be looking at replacing something.

That's ok ;D You're not the first and won't be the last Hope you sort out your problems. Try Zpower if you need anything for your bike. The guys there are very knowlegeable and the range of parts they have is impressive. They can be found here: www.z-power.co.uk/merchantmanager/ (just click the link) F
