It can't be difficult but can anybody give me the quickest way to remove the tank. The bike has been sat for about three years and I am sure the old fuel is causing me problems. I am flushing it through, but want to take the tank off, remove any sludge that may be there, clean the fuel "tap" and so on. Any suggestions would be very welcome.

Sorry for earlier, now seemingly stupid question, only three rubber securing points to overcome and one fuel pipe !!!! Perhaps more importantly now, can anybody tell me where the alternator is, preferably with a photo, taking the left side panel off reveals the heart of the elctrics, but the alternator  |
