I presume Pazzos are straight forward enough to fit yourself? (Changed a few levers over the years) I take it most of you who have changed them went for shorties? Harris are in around that money too but don't seem to do a shorty version, anyone tried them, Rizoma or any other versions? Cheers

Pazzos the way forward mate . A piece of piss to fit- takes about 10 minutes. (ya gotta take out the metal gromit from the old clutch lever & put in the new one though). As I've posted before, this mod will transform your braking/clutch action, look the nuts, & somehow improve the actual power of the brakes. Worth every penny mate. Me got short black with red adjusters as per your pic. Don't know how me got on without 'em. Lovely teqhnical lookin' mod bruv.

Looking like the next spend will be pazzos then, the standard levers on the z1000 are cheap and nasty looking. Everyone raves about the pazzos and as you say they look the business too
Did anyone buy over the web? or have any recommended suppliers, am i right in saying £129 seems to be the going rate?

Ya mate. £129 can't be budged on the net. Got mine from CMC who fortunately for my wallet managed to the whole thing up & gave me a 10% discount for the grief. Seriously Screemin, you want these levers- strangely have made me a more confident rider as the brake & clutch action is far quicker. The stock levers are crap. Now I use the clutch with two fingers & grip the bar with the other fingers so natural; great for clutch wheelies as you can grip the bar as well as pop the clutch you'll see; top quality finish; make the bars look wider; front brake wierdly more aggresive. Order carefully the colour you want, but don't tell the misses. Ya only live once Brother.

aye f**k it i'll order a set this weekend, CMC seem to be where everyone gets them too, black, gold adjuster, she'll not notice anyway, cheers
The only thing i have to decide is whether or not to go for the shorties, probably will, just need to think it through

Ok Ochie, dropped in at Motoplus after work who had a set in stock, black pazzo shorties, gold adjusters. They're on the bike already, piece of piss as you say, feel good but not yet road tested thanks to shitty weather and the wife heading out on the town. I am of course a happy bunny Cheers for the input! Not the best quality pics, so much for my new phone, the old one had a better camera it seems

Aye somebody told me about the roll a click levers too but i jumped on the pazzo bandwagon with all the good reports and so far i reckon, yes they're good, yes they look good but i don't think they are worth the £45 i paid for them.... Just kidding ....£129 of beer coupons like the rest of you

Unfortunately they don't make Pazzo's for Z750S models. Does anyone know if the Pazzo for another model would fit an S (it's a 2006 model)?
A quick canter through the tinterweb and one chap on a US blog mentions that levers for the Ninja EX500 fit his Z750S, but they don't seem to sell those in the UK.
Any ideas?
Cheers Z

Zed thats a surprise, i'd have assumed the S and std 750 had the same levers, you might find it unlikely that any of them make an S version lever if thats the case?

Apparently not. I've read that the levers should be the same as the z1000 03-06 and the er6n-f but no one seems 100% sure on that.
I've now heard back from speedycom who say that pazzo had problems making perches for the s, so they didn't make the levers. Off to read up on WTF perches are now...!
Looks like I'm stuck with using the OEM stock ones unless anyone has any other ideas?

Cheers Z Zed - I have a 750s and have Pazzo goodness bolted up to the bars in the form of black shorties with gold adjusters, you just need a clutch perch off a zx9r/zx10r or I think zx12r. Each will take the plug in connector for the electrics that sense if the sidestand is down with the bike in gear and clutch out. The Pazzos I have were labelled for a zx10r and fit perfectly. Have a look here www.zee750s.com/zeeforum/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=403&p=16952&hilit=+pazzo#p16952

Hey daveejay, thanks for the info. Will investigate ... sounds like the perch + levers you fitted came from a zx10r, so I'll start with that.
Cheers z
