am trying to establish if a Z1000 4 into 1 (such as Muzzy etc) would bolt right up to a Z750/S, they have a common block, but am unable to confirm is anyone has succesfully grafted one on to a 750 (pre 2007) that was designed for the thou, without resorting to a hacksaw and grinder followed by a lot of ugly (and I mean fugly) welding... The rear can is normally held on by strap mount so that can move up n down no probs, am thinking sump plug access and whether likely to foul brake lever i spose.
Anyone know for sure?
Thanks for reading.

Hi Dave Z1000 pipes fit Z750 & 750S fine mate but not the other way round as the 750 has the collector approx an inch further inwards as the Z750 rear shock is mounted central the Z1000 shock is offset to the Right by about an inch (not sure why!) ZX9 had the shock about midway between the Z750 & Z1000 positions. Confused yet ?. so the basic anwser is Z1000 pipes will fit your 750S Regards Rick

Hi Mate
one of the chaps i know has that sort of setup.
he has 08 Z1000 headers and Lazer extreams
His is an 08 Z750 and pipes are ment to fit an 08 Z1000
the little bracket on the left of the frame is slightly different and he had to drill his left Passenger Peg to accept a heath Robinson adapter plate to mount the left scilencer on but very simple job.
i think ideally you need a pair of 07 on rear pegs from a Z1000
Regards Rick

Thanks Rick - good to get that confirmed as am looking at a zed thou system to put onto my 750s, and then drop it into the local Dyno to get a pukka map set up.
