I'm looking everywhere for an exploded diagram (showing all the internals) of a Suzuki GSXR 750 K7 (2007 model) standard exhaust silencer. I'm having no joy, anyone help? Cheers, Matt.

Hi Matt
Have the service manual for the Suzuki K7 GSXR600 (should be almost identical) and it only shows the outside with no internal or cutaway pics at all.
Regards Rick

Thanks Rick, that seems to be all I can find, nowhere shows the guts of the thing! Hamish, you know me! I saw that too, its what got me thinking. I decided to go for something a little more compact. Only trouble is its goin to require quite a bit of work. The whole lower section's got to come apart so I can remove the cat, then I'm going to have to re-build the cat box much slimmer to fit under the engine and miss the shock mount. This is what I've got to work with... Should keep me busy ;D

Jez, you want to be looking for an E model, which was year 2000 to 2002 I think. Other models do fit but the E is easiest to modify I've found. You just cut a slice out of the collector, bend it round so the cut out closes up, and weld it shut. I also reversed the lower shock mount bolt too, just to aid clearance. The standard E model link pipe isn't very usable though, I used a stainless race can link pipe on my first exhaust (scorpion), and welded on a custom one on the second (the whole system is one piece). This next project won't need one at all ;D Once the new system's finished, I'll have one for sale Matt.
