Hi Guys I finally got round to converting the colour of my Z1000 clocks with a new LED kit. fiddly to do but not too bad. I went for a Blue/white.Red combo from a guy on Ebay (BLUE)part search.ebay.co.uk/_W0QQsassZextr400Great bloke to deal with and kit has very clear instructions & everything you need apart from a good soldering iron with a small tip. (which i bought also from Ebay ). If your too scared to do it yourself you can send your clocks to Tim and he will do it for you. I also replaced the Red face with a black face i bought on Ebay from a guy in france that makes them. My Clocks Before & after 2 hours of work Anyway i thought some of you might be up for it. Regards Rick

I finally got round to converting the colour of my Z1000 clocks with a new LED kit. fiddly to do but not too bad. I'm looking to do this too, till I took my clocks apart and seen the inside. Did you have to replace all of the small LED's ? How much of a chew on is it ? I was thinking of all blue or green for mine Though with a white dial - when I can find another one

Hi Andy 11 LEDS changed 1 not changed (12 in Z1000 clocks) If you can solder small stuff/solder in general it's not too hard. But i wouldn't recommend anyone that has not used a soldering iron before try it as a set of clock are approx £400 new. Tim will do your clocks for you at £50 (not sure if that includes postage or not). Regards Rick
