Hi All,
Would appreciate some advice on removal of front sprocket on Z1000.
I have un-fastened all 4 bolts to remove engine sprocket cover - but it doesn't appear to have loosened. Before I wade in with a big hammer..... am I missing something? Should I be removing the speed sensor cover? If so, how? There doesn't appear to be any fasteners.

Light tap with rubber mallet, LIGHT I said, wiggle it off.
Anyone know what socket I should use to remove the front sprocket nut and I use the term “Nut” very loosely, seems like a 22mm square then a 26mm 6 point to 32mm 6 point.
Tried the 26mm 12 point socket, but I rounded the “nut” a little. My 32 mm socket isn’t deep enough. I don’t have a 22mm square socket
Help!

Light tap with rubber mallet, LIGHT I said, wiggle it off. It'll never be a light tap. No matter what, you always end up twatting it really hard ;D

The correct answer to my question was. Go buy a deep 32mm socket and then find out the bevel won't let you get enough purchase on the "nut". Take new socket to work and machine end square. "Nut" came off surprisingly easily with a 2' breaker bar and I didn’t even have to Twat it really hard ;D

My 32 mm socket isn’t deep enough. I don’t have a 22mm square socket Did all that too ! Damn Kawasaki - I reckon my 3 year old son could design a better 'nut' than that. ;D
