I REMOVED MY ERMAX BELLYPAN PRIOR TO MY FULL AKROPOVIC SYSTEM BEING FITTED, IT HAS HUNG ON THE GARAGE WALL NOW FOR 18 MONTHS AND I'M TOYING WITH THE IDEA OF REFITTING IT TO COVER THE SHITE PAINT FINISH ON THE UNDERSIDE OF THE ENGINE. MY QUESTION IS HAS ANYONE DONE THIS AND HOW MUCH PLASTIC NEEDS TO BE DREMELLED AWAY ( A TEMPLATE WOULD BE HANDY!!!) IN ORDER FOR IT TO FIT? I CAN REPAINT THE HUGGER NO PROBLEM, THE ENGINE IS A MUCH BIGGER JOB FOR A LATER DATE, HAS ANYONE ELSE GOT ENGINE PAINT PROBLEMS? THANKS IN ANTICIPATION!!!!

Can't comment on how much to cut away - BUT, have you tried to offer it up to the bike ? Might go straight on. Am going to have a look at the bottom of my bike now

Right, paints a flaking a little bit round by the oil filter. Must remember to wash underneath the bike next time - never realised how much dirts underneath
