Ok people so the website is in development, a friend is turning my designs into an actual webpage.
There will be various sections and various information but one section that I am wanting to make is a "hints & tips" and "recommended modifications" etc.
I am wanting to create step by step guides and how to's for modifications such as the airbox mod, 636 shock swap and the ZX6R fork and brake conversion etc etc.
Does anyone have the pictures of there modifications step by step, and could write a guide about how to do it?
Even simple things such as installing a tail tidy.
If you can please write it down into a word document and send it to me.
Thanks
Dave

Could you not email ridersforums and see if you can 'borrow' the write ups that have been submitted on there?

Wheres the fun in that I'm asking this to give an opportunity for some member input to help other UK Zed owners. It makes it more personal for members from here to do it and also makes some experts to easily ask if there are any problems It also helps to avoid any possible copyright issues too If it comes to it yes I will be asking the American brethren.

I've seen this done on another forum (for my car/bus) and it is a bloody good idea, specially for those with not much mechanical knowledge and so forth.
I'm looking to do the airbox mod shortly, if I remember I'll take some pictures and a few words and you can have that ?

I know what you mean prelude, just seems to daft to get someone to write something up for the sake of when it will be nigh on identical to something that is already out there was just my way of thinking.....the person doing the mod is no doubt copying the instruction that have been given to the site anyway

Aye,
I do take your point, but I'd prefer to leave the opportunity open for members.

I did similar but didn't take that much off, I only too off the neck feeding in. Those instructions are accurate. I get more of a wooshing noise now

I get more of a wooshing noise now Should be getting a PC3 and K & N fitted when I'm off soon. Mine sounds a bit lumpy at idle, like the choke is still on. Feels like it has a bit of "turbo lag" till you get up to about 2500-3000rpm on the road. Needs setting up properly I think. I guess it would be wise to do the airbox mod before I get the Dyno work done? Is it basically to increase air flow to the filter?? Whats the benefit?

Is this a recommended mod for a standard bike and no power commander ?
