I've done a search but couldn't find anything soooo ... Had my zed since Oct, 2004 model. Gradually, I've noticed a vibration which is now felt through the handlebars and footpegs. Was very slight at higher speeds when I first got the bike but seems more prominent now; I'm assuming it's engine, as when I squeeze my knees I can feel it then! Not really coming up thru the seat though. Seems to kick in at 4.5k revs and worse with harder riding. Nothing is loose although there is also a rattle but whilst going along, I can't bloody fathom out where it's coming from. Anyone had anything similar? p.s - would a pair of Renthals off a KMX125 fit onto mine???

Have a look at your chain. Mine has tightened up all by itself twice and causes the bike to vibrate. I've got 15,000 on it now and the engine vibes have eased a lot.

When you next get it seviced, make sure the 'carb' balance is OK...............mate of mine says the fuel system can be a big cause of vibration......................which will gradually get worse with time as the perfect 'carb' balance is lost.

Have read zeds have a vibration but mine just seemed to be getting steadily worse. Recently had new tyres and whilst there, they adjusted the chain. Also had a new wheel bearing about a month ago, but none of the above made any difference, although chain&sprocket will need replacing soon. I'm also married to a mechanic! Oh well, just keep an eye on it I guess ... if I suss it out, will let you know

I thought we had FI so no carbs to go out of balance There are butterfly valves in the injector bodies so they still need balanced and it's a pain in the arse to do without an extended fuel line and the worlds longest screwdriver. I did mine at 7,500 miles although they weren't too far out
