Posted this question on the yank site but seems they dont have the flash button on the cluster . Mine has stopped working, took it apart to check wires and they are fine in the cluster. Fuses are good and main beam works on the normal toggle switch. Did have the cowling off the other day but only unplugged the bulbs to remove it, can that be it or is hunt time for a broken wire, cheers for any help KB

Got the same problem myself. Only I haven't had the headlight cowl off - only had the cluster apart to sort out indicator switch but not sure if it was working after this (or before for that matter ) Not check for wire continuity yet. Is this an MOT failure???

Not a failure as such because main beam (should) be working and you have another methord of warning other people (the horn)
Check your main/dip switch is working and both lights are working ok If not could be just a bulb out. Don't think it has a seperate fuse but does not do any harm to check Check all your wiring connections first as you may have disturbed/pulled out a connector
Other than that chances are it is just the switch that has corroded up(it does sit facing all that the weather can throw at it) If u have a small test bulb/volt meter with the switch dismantaled you could put it to the input side and earth the test lamp should light/12v ish then the out put connection and earth and press switch if it lights(12v ish) switch ok if not faulty switch then
Just remember any work is carried out at your own risk!

Sorted...traced to a loose wire/bad connection in the white multi block in the cowling, must of disturbed it when I took the cowling off, needed a wiggle but then took it apart and WD40'd the lot just in case as there was little bit of corrosion just showing its head
