Got the Zed booked in for some dyno time next week, fitting a PC3 and K&N and will be remaped accordingly. We are gonna see if there is any existing suitable maps that wil do the job, if not its custom map time. Will let you know what happens and post details of new map if I can.

Spoon mate, have you noticed any considerable difference from the standard pipes before you fit the pc111. P.S. my cans have still not arrived yet

Its about a year since I last had the standard pipes on the Zed, but I would still say yes, deffinate difference, going down PC3 route cos I want to make sure fueling is ok, not overly worried about any more power on top, though would be nice ;D
Sorry to hear that yours still havnt shown up, I would be giving them some grief by now, asking for freebies etc cos of inconvenience etc.

Power and torque were not quite as high as I expected, 121.45rwhp and 66.12 torque, though I dont have a before read out but know it is more responsive and smoother. Aparently it was running really, really lean(as in the 15+ mark) before tweeking, fuelling is nigh on spot on from 3k through to 10k with a nice flat power curve(no dips or holes). Torque is nice and steady with 50flbs@3500 revs, steady increase to 55flbs@6000, peak 66flbs @ 8000 then down to 60 flbs @ 10500. Both power and torque curves are smoother than any other charts I have seen, and I can feel the difference too, alot more resposive, easier to use power etc etc. At the end of the day I was more concerned about correct fueling than top end power, which I hardly ever use to be honest , I mostly use the 7k to 9k range, which happily is were all my torque is. If I can lay hands on a scanner I will post the chart for you, also i am not sure but may be able to up load the map too(if I can figure out how to ).

Spoon, Interesting stuff, especially the running lean bit on standard map with Lazers... Where did you go to get it set up? Did they fit the Power commander for you? Looks like more expense coming up...

Alfs of worthing, they fitted the PC, and have good rep, have the Zed serviced by them too. It may have been running very lean cos of the K&N fitted at the same time, breathing easier there fore more Air = lean.
