Plan to start the process of fitting the PCIII and exhaust tomorrow; Can someone tell me what this is [arrow] [a href=" "] [/a] It appears to be some sort of throttle position sensor. I'll have to disconnect it, any ideas where?? [The instructions make no reference to it] Has anyone fitted an aftermarket can/PCIII to the 2007 Z750? Any pointers will always be welcome

leave it connected to the zorts mate.. follow the cables aqcross and under seat to behind the panel, remove panel and you will see a wheel with the cables either side. undo centre nut then just pop the lot off . remove the cables noting which side goes where( take a picture) then put empty wheel back on. It helps the bike with grunt.. the more throttle you use, the more it opens.. its not needed with an open zorst and you dont need it for MOT. just a road legal zorst.. not to worry mate here you go... www.riderforums.com/showthread.php?t=41011

I have fitted the PCIII, and it was very easy to fit. Is the bike any better to ride? Well, that depends on the map you install on the PCIII. I've tried generic maps from the Power Commander website that seam OK, I've also tried Mivv supplied maps for the end can, and what I'm trying to say is - it depends on what your after. What the PCIII does do is provide a tool that gives you the freedom to choose what type of performance you want from your bike. For example, one map I choose gave me loads of extra oomph after about 4000rpm, before that it was nearly dead. BUT, I lost some torque. The Mivv map is smoother, more torque and less oomph. The software GUI lets you compare fueling curves between two maps, so you can see where one's adding more/less fuel at the pre determined throttle positions. Is it worth the investment Yes, without it your not going to match your ideal Fuel:air ratio, and therefore not get the best from your investment in an end can/air filter etc...
