After all my problems of getting the clutch to work over the last few months. My MOT is due this month, and thought as they moan about the excess noise coming out of bikes exhaust these day, i would renew the wadding in my end cans, so Sunday removed the old stuff which was black and brown from the stuff coming out of the motor, and fitted nice clean fresh packing around the baffle. Monday every thing seem to be working ok, Tuesday i filled up with petrol and the local, unleaded and rode off a few miles down the road the engine just sort of went quieter, looked down thinking the cans had dropped off, which was dumb as the sound would have gone up, revved the engine still running but felt like it was only on three, kept going still pulls and has no problem getting to 50 etc, Got into work and checked the end cans some of the packing had come out on one can. Got home in the evening removed the can checked the down pipes clear, removed the baffle and noticed not a lot of packing inside and it was wet? So refitted with new and going to see how she runs going to work, But is this a sign of a oiled plug? Got no red warning lights coming up on the dash Z1000 a6f 2006

Oh noes ... more trouble?!?!?!😱😱😱. A faulty of cracked coil doesnt necessarily have to produce a FI light. On my 07 zed it was a tedious job to get to plug 2 and 3 three, but checking for wet sparkplugs is one way to rule it out

Well i don't know if its faulty or not, bike seems to be running ok now, but as i am going in for an MOT in a few days i will get them to have a look, as i haven't a clue about taking the plugs out, with the coils fixed to them, the Haynes manual tells you to remove the wiring first, so knowing how ham firsted i am i will break something!
