While staying at a friends my Z1000 battery died, my friend who so say knew bikes put jumper leads from his car battery to the battery on the bike, let’s just say the bike is now dead, no ignition changes to the dash, just turn the ignition and nothing, any idea what the problem is? Please help. Thanks

Yes you may have blown the fuses, shouldn't jump it off a car to Powerful,I've done it to,should have took the battery off and charged it,it can't cope with the power serg... Check the fuses bud hopefully it stopped it there... A car is 12to14volts. A bike battery 8to10volt some bikes are 6 volt depending... Even though there both 12 volt that's the charge they hold...

I have checked the fuses in the main block under the seat, they all seem fine.

Just check there's no other fuses separate from the fuese for indicators lightes e.t.c. they may be some more on the bike. If u need help to find them, try aj Sutton they have a brake down of most bikes on there so u can find ure bike and track down all the fuese, that way you can eliminate all of them,it's a pain but something would have blown, somewhere .or disconnect the batter try that leave it and... Borrow a bike battery then try that... Hope it helps...
