Hi... I've recently removed the pair system from my 2017 z1000r,and although comphysofa has helped,plus other have gave advice,and have been very helpfull towards me.... I'm worried,I don't have the money to get,the ECU flash and it will be a while before I can,I have a delkavic headers, Austin racing cans,but me being me,and I worry,am I damaging something ,by running it,like it is,I've put baffles in,if it helps,in anyway,but I would like some sound advice,to put my mind at ease..... Some have told me,that they have run there's for 3/4 months,but ide like as much advice as possible,not just for me but if it help others,even better.... I appreciate your help,thanks....

the mods you have done will require a flash on the ecu, but primarily to improve the power curve and smooth out the fuelling, no damage is gonna be done unless you keep a sustained full throttle top end where it will be running a bit lean, but even then you would be unlucky. as regards the blank off plates, they will not effect the mixture in any way, all as that will do is negate the job of the pair system which is to inject air into the zorst for emissions ... leaves a lovly crackle on overun cos it only injects air on overrun hence no effect to performance. so to sum up, no damage, bit you will not be getting the performance benefits to the full and smooth throttle response till u flash the ecu on a rolling road.

Thank u,as I said until I have £400 for ECU flash,and the sun shines,I would like to use it,better off asking people for advice to check I'm not damaging anything. as I do worry abit to much,and I do read into things more than I should,but better safe,than sorry... Thanks...

Ran mine for bout 18 months like this until ecu reflash. No problems 👍
