To anyone that may be logging in now and again, sorry I've not posted for a while.....anyway....as above I'm not going to say it's a world first but, I may be close...
Just collected it today from cjs tuning, Chris has had it for the last 4 days so I could be the guinea pig. He's effectively dumped the ecu, adjusted it and re flashed it back with all restrictions removed and given it a custom fuel mapping. I may not be able to post the graph from tablet, if not ill upload tomorrow....so, mods are full arrow race headers, v&h brawlers and a k&n air filter.
Bhp up by 10 torque up by about 5 ft lbs. The mods are as follows...
1. O2 sensor removed
2. Red line increased
3. Flapper valve removed
4. Fuel shut off corrected.
Also there were apparently some quite heavy restrictions on the fuel injectors on 1st 2nd and 3rd gear. Hopefully I'll be parroting this off correctly. ...."the secondary fuel injectors are not coming on until 7000 rpm, in 6th the secondary injectors cut in the 3000rpm. I've copied the mapping for 6th to 1st, 2nd and third". Essentially you'll be looking at quite an increase in power in the lower gears.... He wasnt wrong.... **** me it goes now...!
With regards to the fuel shut off. Now this is fixed if means there is now no popping and banging on the fuel shut off plus the gesture of going from off to on from a fueling/throttle point of view is now greasy smooth....makes a big difference.
All in all absolutely brilliant. So, if you want yours mapped, give Chris a call at cjs tuning and get booked in. He will, do a mail in service for the mods, fuel shut off, O2 sensor etc etc but won't do a custom map unless he has the bike on his dyno as he doesn't want anything with his name against it being anything short of perfect with regards to fueling which I do totally agree with. If you do, then now he's learnt on mine he can map yours inside a day.
