Hi, New to the forum, just bought a barn find 1980 z1000st and need a bit of help, not sure what the clocks are off, they dont fit the two brackets i have, i think they may be z650 because it has the brackets for the cover plates quite low down. I also need a fuel tap struggling to get a used one, have been told gsx600f will fit as it has the 44mm gap, any other kawasaki ones fit z750 might? thanks jim

Hi, Renovating an old z1000st 1980, the clocks on it arn't original, any idea's what kawaski they came off, they were supposed to be off an st import, but the clock covers are too long, also there is no fuel gauge?

they defo not z650 clocks as they have a lamp in them - z650 didn't
which fuel petcock you want? I have a NOS vacuum type

They are no way from a st. you should find some on ebay.

Just out of curiosity are you renovating with a view to restore or, are you renovating with getting it uptodate/freshened up/customized. The reason I say is that when I did the same thing to my supermoto I went to motogadget. German company specializing in clocks, indicators, wiring etc etc...
