Help, I am trying to refurb my front brake callipers but I can't find any replacement seals that dont cost an arm and a leg. Any ideas where i can get them? Also any suggestions re front brake upgrades without too much fuss??
Thanks

Unless there are pattern seal kits available then kawasaki genuine seals will be all you can buy. An alternative would be removing all seals and measuring them then looking for matching seals. If its a 2003-2006 Z1000 you have then you could think about a ZX6R/ZX10R front end upgrade with radial calipers? This isn't an alternative to buying genuine seals though What it does is gives you better suspension and braking, thus better handling and control under braking as well as quicker more precise steering. There are companies that make calipers that are basically copies of Tokicos and Nissin calipers or might even be made by them but not showing the brand. These are generally sold at a good percentage less than what Kawasaki would charge. You could check with your local bike shops and see if they can order in said calipers or do seal kits for them....then they wouldn't be the "Genuine" seals but tbh will be the same. Check them out or if you are still struggling, let me know. F
