Air escaping from petrol cap is simply a build up of pressure from the vapours inside pushing the air out of the tank...usually dissapipates itself or when you fuel up.

about my z 1000 sometimes doesent go from 5th to 6th If this is an occasion thing then it could be a few things: Check chain tension, check gearshift for play and for position. Does it do this under hard accelaration or just normal riding when it happens? Has the bike covered a high mileage? With these types of faults, its hard to diagnose the exact fault sometimes....could be a bent or worn fork or a stripped gear or simply something silly as mentioned earlier. Start with the simply remedies then delve in deeper if no joy. F
