OK, getting a little frustrated now As I've previously explained on another thread, after fitting my Mivv Suono end can with PCIII, I'm getting my FI light flashing. Now, I must also state that I completely removed the cables from the valve motor. The consitions under which the FI light appear are sitting above ~78-80mph, 9in top gear), for more than about 4mins - i.e. on the motorway. I can a happily blat about all day varying the revs/throttle at any speed in any gear without it appearing, but as soon as I sit at a constant as described, it appears - WTF??? So, yesterday I replaced the cables, putting locks on the end to simulate the operation of the valve on the stock exhaust, thinking - yup that'll do it So, is there anyway I can get the error codes from the bike?? Any suggestions/ideas welcome. Thanks, Ollie

mate i think you did more damage than you thought to the control box when you stripped the teath.. i recon you need a new box even though you wont be conecting the cables to it. you have tried everything else and no-one else has had any trouble so its got to be that...

It think it's impossible for the gear to reach the point at which the teeth are stripped as I've re-attached the cables with 'stoppers' to simulate the open/close position of the valve on the exhaust. It's impossible for it to reach the stripped part now, however - if the gear did reach the stripped part, then it would be then stuck in that position unable to move - that's never happened. You maybe right in the sence that I might have disturbed something else in the control box though. Looks like a trip to the dealers on the cards However, I did have to move the gear round 180 degrees???

OK, so I've downloaded the service manual, and it lists a way of displaying the accumulated error codes, basically - turn on ignition, make sure odomenter is in the display and press and hold the 'mode' button for 2 seconds. On my bike nothing happens Anyone else ever tried looking at their error codes??

OK, finally worked out how to get the error code. Firstly, the error needs to have happened, ie, the FI light is flashing. It's then that you can follow the afore mentioned procedure. I have error code '33', and the manual states; 'Oxygen Sensor: Oxygen sensor inactivation, wiring open or short'
Why this only happens at constant speeds above 70mph is anybodies guess?

Yea Froggy, sounds like the same problem. At high speeds for a period of time the FI light comes one!! [Interestingly, with the baffle in and running the Mivv baffle in map, it takes some time to activate the FI light. If I remove the Baffle and change to the baffle out map from Mivv, it comes on almost instantly at high speed.] I have talked to my supplier, he's going to talk to DynoJet UK. It just so happens, I'm in Preston at DynoJet having my bike put on the Dyno - so at the very least I can talk to them direct. From what I can see, the O2 eliminator we are given is a straight loop back wire. The ECU is looking for some sort of signal - so maybe it needs a resistor included? ?

right am back from where I had my PC111 fitted Ollie. hey took the O2 eliminator out and re plugged the lambda thing. i need to go on the motorway to see if it has not sorted out the FI light problem. thing is though the O2 eliminator is there to take control over the CPU between 0 and 3000 rpm... so without it I guess i will lose all the benefit i had eg massive torque improvement.... the guys also mentioned a resistor if my bike is not fixed after that...

errr i dont know it is the thing you replace with the 02 eliminator. the Lambda thing (sorry) takes over the CPU (or is it PCU?) to control the air/fuel mix (or just the air intake?) at low res (between iddling and 3000 rpm max) my light is gone now. just wonder if i have not lost torque though...need to put the 02 back on to check but nothing major as i obviously am not sure
