I've fitted my Zumo mount, and it's pretty flexible and you should be able to get it to where it won't interfere with you or the bike. There are plenty of different mounts available from Touratech.
I've also fitted the Autocom with the Bluetooth adapter so that I can hear the voice prompts from the Zumo.

I got the Zumo and Bluetooth kit from the Autocom stand at the NEC last year. I think it was about £350. I bought the Autocom 200, which was running at half price as they are bringing out new models later this year, £80-ish. I also replaced the in-ear headphones with the Ultimate ear speakers - £155 I daren't add it up

Well the Zumo is mounted nicely on the handlebar and wired up now. I plug in my in-ear headphones for prompts and also to have some music but longer term I'm looking at a Starcom plus bluetooth transmitter dongle and receiver for the headphones. That will give me stereo rather than mono which you get from the inbuilt bluetooth.
Fitting a Vario screen this weekend so hopefully that won't mean a change to the mounting of the unit. I also have a gelpad for the seat as the delivery on a corbin was too long for my trip to Europe this month and the stock seat isn't the most comfortable when you're doing longer distances.
And finally I got the Ventura luggage for it so I'm sorted for this trip.

And finally I got the Ventura luggage for it so I'm sorted for this trip. OK, now I've been on the trip I can rate the bits and pieces I added. Here we go: Zumo - 7/10. Renders quite slowly and had a bit of a flid in the middle of Bayeux. Vario screen - 8/10. I'm 5'9" and it gave me an extra 10mph in comfort. Gel pad - 2/10. Still got a sore butt and also you lose some stability on the bike. Ventura luggage - 10/10. Can't fault it. Stable at speed, waterproof. Good bit of kit. Shure in-ear headphones - 5/10. Didn't always stay in the ear. Sometimes hurt when on, bit fiddly to get the helmet on with them in, and also had some noise at speed. Thought it was the jackplug but couldn't trace it.

For navigation and speedcams, i use a Nokia 6680 running TTM5 which sits in my outside jacket pocket, so i can get at it easily, the earpiece wire then runs under my waist belt and under a top pocket flap into my left ear, the Nokia 6680 is connected via BT to a Globalsat BT318 GPS receiver that i have strapped to the handlebar cross brace, but i will get an external MMCX aerial so i can keep the GPS receiver under the seat.
It all works very well, it does take a bit of getting used to, having only voice instructions, but it is a hell of a lot cheaper than the bike specific sat navs.

I use a nokia e61, hooky version of tomtom loaded onto a microsd card, gps receiver blagged from somewhere or other, synced up to cardo rider teamset via bluetooth. All works well together as dont bother with looking at phone screen when on the bike so the phone and the gps both go in me jacket pocket. Handy for receiving calls when out ont he bike too.....

Me, Doris and the Ventura system. To be fair, the bike held up well considering it's not a tourer and it was motorway pretty much door to door. I have to say, I may have been a bit harsh on the gel pad before. The Doris had it on the way there, I had it on the way back. A noticeable improvement on comfort on the return leg.
