Off to the nurburgring tomorrow

Going over with a few guys from the ZX9 site I use, 3 days of messing about and a few laps of the ring, first tour and sorta trackday since ive had the Z so looking forward to it, catch you lot on monday ;D

Well the Z and I survived fine....the Z is a little lighter after a two up lap of the ring ground a little bit of zorst off(joining clamp). Kept up with some quicker stuff just fine, comfort was good with the taller screen, all in all, well impressed

I will mate, love the area as much as the 'ring itself. If youve never been get yourself over before it gets too expensive...laps have gone up 6 euros in a year

Well im back. Top time even tho the weather wasnt the best. Got a good few laps in even tho there was quite a few closing's due to crashes(none of our group tho). More than held its own against 9r's and a gixer thou,ill post some pics up tomorrow

Right then, a few pics as promised, only one action shot from the ring photographer. One of the guys with me did get some sneaky onboard footage following me, got about a third of a lap before the camera played up , when I get the dvd ill try and post it up

I'm planning a trip to the Nurburgring next June, hoping to stay at Sliders Guest House. Where did you stay when you went over and did anyone give you advise on any good roads to have a run around the area outside the ring.

Hi mate, sorry for the delay. Yep stayed at sliders this year, top people bren and suez and booked up for next year already. Last year stayed in adenau at Hotel an der Nordshcielfe which is right next to the mid point entrance. Roads in the area.....point in a direction and enjoy, they are all great. The road from sliders to the ring(258/257) is simply stunning. The road out to cochem is also fantastic....you aint gonna be disappointed ;D
