I just got a chain and sprocket kit via mail order. The problem is that the rear sprocket is plain carbon steel which I need to get blackened. I'm not having any success finding someone who can do it. Any ideas ?

Just get it powder coated, all the renthal hard anodised ones wear off around the teeth anyways? as long as the mass of the sprocket is powdercoated will still look a lot nicer.
