Do any of you find the green tube replacing the stock reservoir sweats a little? Mine had beaded moisture on the outside yesterday.

Hmm. I wonder is the material unsuited to brake fluid.

Can't see why not, mine is a genuine HRC Honda brake pipe,so I' was baffled by it at first. I thought it was my garage, then i was parro it was peeking, but no??? So I don't know...

Yeah mine is the HRC one too. I'm gonna keep an eye on it for now,but if it keeps playing up I'll need to think of an alternative.

Seems to be a condensation thing. I'll keep an eye on it.

I'm going to junk it. The hose has gone cloudy now too,so it's difficult to see the level.
Gonna make a bracket and reinstall a reservoir.

It's a bit of a mystery how some appear to be ok,then others play up. I may have put up with the 'sweating',but not being able to see the level defeats the object. Anyway I've made a bracket, sprayed it black and it ought to be a neat enough job when finished.

Brake fluid pulls moisture from the air. The line/hose isn't made of suitable material. You may have a counterfeit on your hands.
Fix is to replace both compromised line and contaminated fluid.
Good luck.

i got a tool that measures moisture in brake fluid, you can pick 1 up for around £15 and it will put you mind at rest to see if the brake fluid has absorbe too much water ...

The green tube was permanently sweaty and cloudy, maybe I was unlucky and bought a cloned part instead of HRC,but it''s gone now and in it's place a small Brembo reservoir. Peace of mind.

Peace of mind. +1 on safety and peace of mind side note: Also possible that fuel line was being sold as brake line. If I remember correctly, brake line tends to cost more. If you find a good deal on brake line, it's probably mislabeled fuel line.

The part came dressed up in the HRC packaging and it was about £15,so it seemed to be the genuine article, but you never know with ebay,I suppose.

A bit of an update for you all.
I contacted the shop where I bought the delete kit, outlined what had happened and this was the reply.
"I can assure you that all of our products sold are genuine Honda or HRC products supplied through Honda UK. The green tubes are intended to be replaced regularly, with HRC and Honda Racing themselves replacing them between races. With this in mind, we sell the tubes separately on here. Often buyers cut them into two pieces to make two uses out of them."
Kind regards Paul Styles - Partner
I replied,I didn't think they were so temporary and received the reply below.
"We didn't at first many years ago until a customer reported one going cloudy, so I spoke to Honda and they said that they were for race use only and typically single use.
Despite that, I've had them on my bikes for several years and only one of them has gone milky the others are all fine and the odd thing is I use the same brake fluid in all my bikes".
All the best Paul
So there you go folks,it's luck of the draw how long the tube lasts, but in all honesty I wouldn't be bothered changing it on a regular basis.

I looked everywhere on the net for a genuine HRC Honda one,in the end text my mate who's a service parts manager for Honda. As I wanted to avoid eBay all together,he said exactly the same, that Honda use only in racing use ones then bin... I explained mine, and he convinced me it was a genuine HRC,and that he was happy to order me one,but said not to bother..... Then I found this and I've ordered it today, and it's already been posted to me,I'll put it up if anyone is interested, and the listing sleeks for itself, please read.....
