Looking forward to hearing all about the power you make with a turbo on your Zed. I seen a Zed with a ZX10R motor on it and thought that was interesting as would have had at least 175 bhp at the crank without ram air. I would imagine your bike should have over 200 hp at the rear wheel (which is the same as my 3.0 V6 car engine) but in a 1000cc Oh and regarding the posting of a video....record it, post it via a youtube account then link your video from youtube here....and "Voila!" instant gratification video styleee! Oh and don't forget to enable sound on the recording device. Lets see some more pics and info on what you've donwe too please F

Cool video m8y ;D Sounds wicked even at idle. I'd be hoping for at least 200 BHP at the rear wheel, as a standard Zed must push about 125 BHP at the rear wheel. Glad you got the vid uploaded onto Youtube. All you need to do now is once you've made more, upload them and post them here....look in the message window when you write your messages and there is a "Add Tags! option and one is "Youtube". By clicking on this, it adds the tags for youtube which are in square brackets. You then copy and paste your link inbetween the tags with no spaces and save. Then your vid appears in the post like i've done for you above F

thanks for doing the vidoe admin now i get it lol well 200 bhp would be nice bike the bike unforunutly cnt stay sounding tht loaud lol but im gona weld second part of it on this week so i cn have my cans on there and its got a screamer pip on it aswell so nealy there na thank god lol well post more video up when have the time and more work gets done its slow and getting there tho lol

Turbo, When you fitted your turbocharger, didn't you fit low compression turbo pistions and billet rods and have your crank welded up to cope with the increased pressure? Perhaps even have additional webbing on the crankcases and use stronger head bolts as well? If you fit nitrous oxide injection, you will be throwing more than double the horsepower at your engine that it was designed to cope with.....it'll go bang! A guy I knew back in the 80's had a Spondon framed GSX1100 air cooled (Was running whatever motor he could get his hands on so they varied from EX/ESD/EFE motors). He had a turbocharger fitted and it would pull low 9's on the 1/4 mile and would hit about 180 with the gearing on the motorway. He went through motors like they were going out of fashion and clutches more frequently.....chains and tires were replaced nearly as often as tankfulls of fuel He spoke to a lot of pro drag guys, who told him that stock engines never last when you push them so spending the time and money on one engine and doing it right saves money in the end as you are not buying and swapping engines all the time So be careful

lol i now i have todo tht next winter and thts not gona be the problem for me im def doing conrodes and pistons and welding the crank for defnat and putiing stainless steel valves in aswell rather have a strong motor than have a standerd one lol but my motor is stock for moment wit 6 psi and seems to run fin i rode it the othere day and then rechached the motor internls and all seems great now just to need to sort tyre and finish sorting ods and sodes and do power run on dyno see wt numbers im getting dont for get i have spacer plate 1 mm to lower in living room and zx9r 2000 model adjustable camsprokets in the motor all ready but in gona do dyno run with 6 psi first then i cn run 7 psi with spacer plate then do another rund and c number for bhp

yay i have finally finished my motorcycle tecnicain course and fully qualified tecnicain now thank good after years hard work now but to the zed and start puting som money in it and finish it off befor summer ends well what weather we had

Turbo My one is awesome fun, need the steering damper cranked right up tho when hooliganing around!!! Mines is pushing out 245bhp at the wheel. Got custom low comp cp pistons & carillo rods too. It was in aug edition of streetfighters f you have seen it. Awesome for wheelies like dont think i will be going through too muh front tyres lol back only lasted 570 miles tho ;D

Sells, I noticed the Holeshot Racing sticker....That's Jack "Jarred" Frost's tuning company.....have you seen the Busa turbos and Busa Turbo engines he does and the V8 Turbo Busa engines he builds? Awesome stuff. Your Zed looks mean! love the little turbo zorst.....its a neat turbo system. Is it a Garrett turbocharger? 245 bhp at the rear wheel is superb too.....you've doubled the rear wheel HP. The forged low comp pistons and corillo rods should cope with the extra ponies....I take it you beefed the clutch up too ;D A tire shredding monster........best take out shares in Pirelli

Fr@gboy- yeah it was Mr frost that done the conversion for me, it the stage 2 kit, thought not much point doing it half arsed and safer engine to run with pistons etc. Yeah the engines he builds are awesome. I was supposed to be going down to york last weekend for world speed and wheelie event but couldnt make it was gutted i was wanting a shot of his latest creation... BKing with 600bhp busa engine!!!!!!!!!!! He text me other night with results he one event with top speed of 232mph on his big busa but he said was hoping to get 260mph out of it but slight winds and first time out on his new set up. He got 147mph wheelie on the bking which is pretty impressive for big heavy bike. He also got 196mph out his turbo R6 but fried clutch trying to break 203mph 600 record MENTAL!!!! Z1000 Turbo- As i was saying to fr@gboy it was Holeshot racing that done the work perhaps if you contacted jack frost he could let you know?!? How you getting on wi yours??

hallo chap im getting on all ok at mo and awaiting on my bazzaz unit now and then its ready for the road and iv just orderd a spacer plate from cometice gasket of 1mm to lower compression this will be stage one of my project cos when it comes of road next year im gona put new piston rodes and ape head studs and cassing studs and stainless steel valves and then im puting second turbo on it with 8 injectors unstead of the 4 lol hell knws wt bhp it will be then lol ill probe will have to do more but im looking it to othere parts at mo just holeshot are claiming 200bhp with a spacer plate at 7psi seems alot with a spacer plate but hay ill see on the dyno when it turns up and ill fit it lol

i got blue balls waiting was gona do it all in one hit but then would take me to long so now gona keep it like this stage till i have the main parts like rods and pistons lol have u done yr top speed yet then gota be more top end and when dos yr turbo kick in min kicks in around 3700 is on the rev counter lol but couldent ride it far cos of feuling had to be sorted hence the bazzaz lolid prob went less then few houndred yards just to c wts it like 29 september gona be all on the road with all the m.o.t with tax and tht ill psot results befor spacer plate and video and with spacer plate after might be bit longer after cos i would of spent alot to get it on the road lol shor cnt wait ;D

hay sells i got tht issue in my room lol any ways iv got my bazzaz zfi yesterday and gona post the the way the to fit it form my year and for turbo set up its for 2010 modul but all conecters fit so was little rsiky when buaght it i did pryer resrtch to c lol
