Question for all you guys with bar-end mirrors: How do you fit them to std bars? do you have to cut down the end weight? Or do they just hang out more? Or have you all replaced them with bar-ends with integral mirrors? I like the universal seperate one, see? Also have you got 1 or 2, (can't make up me mind)

I have the Motrax ones. I had to buy longer bolts and bodge about a bit with washers between the standard bar end weight and the handlebars. The other thing you need to do with Motrax is take the mirrors out of the holders and silicon them in.

I forgot to mention that the standard bolts can be a turd to get off. Three or four good whacks with an impact driver sorted mine out.

Also depends on the type you get
mine fit on to the bars so to fit them i hade to move the switch gear etc in 20 mm each side this then makes a 20 mm gap on the end of the bar between the end of your grip and end weight remove end weight and fit but you are also correct you can have the bar end weight made 22 mm and fit to that but it looks a little silly imo
