I recently had a problem with the clockset fitted on my zed. Every time I turned the ignition off and turned it back on the clock reset to 1 oclock and the trip meter to zero. After much head scratching and no real help from the dealers I contacted kawasaki technical section. They said the clock is fed from the ACC fuse in the junction box and to check it, also check continuity of the the cable. I did all this and found them to be OK. I then checked out the junction box itself. Bingo!! the JB is not sealed and had water ingress which corroded the circuit board by the ACC pin. After cleaning the board up I had to solder a link wire to restore the 12 v supply. The JB is now sealed with silicone to help prevent any reccurrence.Clock now works correctly. Hope this helps any of you out there with a similar problem
